Partnership follows an introduction at Mumbai Tech Week 2026 and will make Storia's production pipeline available to KathaNepal's client base across Nepal

ERNAKULAM, KERALA, INDIA, August 10, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Storia Films, an AI film production company, and KathaNepal, a Nepal-based creative and advertising agency, today announced a strategic collaboration to serve clients across Nepal. Under the arrangement, KathaNepal will act as Storia's market partner in Nepal, with Storia providing AI-led film production for campaigns commissioned through the agency.

The collaboration gives brands and organisations in Nepal access to a production process built specifically for AI-generated visual content, covering creative direction, shot development, continuity, editing, colour and sound. For Storia, which is headquartered in Belgium and operates across the UK, Switzerland and India, the partnership marks its first structured entry into the Nepali market.

Manoj Pandey, founder of KathaNepal, approached Storia's Head of Creative, Reghu Shanker, following a Storia Showcase presentation at Mumbai Tech Week 2026. Conversations continued over the following weeks before the two sides agreed on a working structure.

"What stood out in Mumbai was that Storia was not talking about AI as a novelty," said Manoj Pandey, Founder, KathaNepal. "There is a lot of interest in AI video among clients here in Nepal, but very little clarity on how it actually gets made to a standard a brand can run with. That is the gap this partnership addresses. We understand the Nepali market and its audiences; Storia brings the production system."

Under the collaboration, KathaNepal will lead client relationships, market context and campaign strategy in Nepal, while Storia will handle production. Both teams will work jointly on creative development. The companies said the first projects under the partnership are expected to begin in August 2026.
